balboa arrest go eyes
(or, what we did on wednesday)
the talouse-lautrec exhibit at balboa park in san diego. we discovered our reflection in the glass and snapped some self-portraits.
the koi pond with a saxaphone solo in the background
balboa park picture postcard
went through the exhibit curated by graham nash at the museum of photographic art. want to buy "take aim" so badly so, the amazon search is on for a cheap copy. the whole thing was ridiculously good but my favorite was a photograph of elvis eating eggs, bacon and french fries for breakfast.
the bookstore came soon, rather we came to the bookstore, and i found hard back treasure and other things in the form of these gems
a 1945 beautifully illustrated version of the rime of the ancient mariner
and a neat little paperback on astrology by Ronald C. Davison. I now own "complete instructions for casting [my] own horoscope".
observed everyone who doesn't have a tattoo wants to tell me what how to finish mine.
so rhyme a song about it
(or what we did today and yesterday and another day)
salk institute
feat. chihuly glass works
and a pool i couldn't swim in.
also, occasional folks flying in the sky
making fast dips and sly turns.
